New Orleans, LA, USA (August 7, 2007) - St. Mary's Dominican High School officially launched their new web site on Tuesday August 7, 2007.
The school’s new Cit-e-Net web site solution, located at www.stmarysdominican.org, has enabled the school to create, implement and manage a highly functional web site encompassing a broad spectrum of functions associated with school operations. The web site will enable parents and students to keep informed about school activities, class schedules, homework, reading assignments and upcoming events. The school will also be able to use the site to immediately post school closing or emergency notices and other time sensitive information. It also contains an Admissions section with information and resources for parents of prospective students.
Parents can download a variety of forms such as registration, emergency forms, fund raising forms or a permission slip for a class trip.
The web site contains a Clubs & Organizations section, where various teams, clubs and activities are highlighted. These groups even have the ability to add their events to the school calendar by submitting an online events request to the school, which would then be reviewed by school administration and then can be posted on the school calendar.
Low investment and operating cost, quick web site implementation and the easy content management capability of the Cit-e-Net solution, that enables authorized school staff to manage content and expand the web site, were key reasons for the school’s decision to implement the Cit-e-Net solution. |
