ASSISTANT TO CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICERThe Town of Dover has an immediate opening for an Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer. Duties include routine and recurring budget administration duties which facilitate the conduct of more complex and detailed review and analysis functions conducted by the supervisor and higher level budget examiner.
The Town of Dover has an immediate opening for a Clerk Typist. Duties include; under direction, performs a variety of clerical duties of moderate complexity which involves, receptionist duties for the Code Enforcement, Construction, Engineering and Planning and Zoning Departments, provides the public with proper applications for a number of permits required from the various departments, provides general information and guidance to the public regarding permits and procedures, schedules inspections for Engineering and the Construction Departments, reviews submitted permit applications for completeness prior to accepting permits, answers phones for the various departments, this position will require cross training with the Code Enforcement Clerk duties and does other related work as required.
The Town of Dover Code Enforcement Department has an immediate opening Code Enforcement Officer. Duties include; under direction, performs various types of field and office work involved in seeing that residents, businesses, and property owners comply with the various municipal codes. As needed assists with zoning regulations, Municipal Code violations, & Property Maintenance Code violations and enforcement and other day-to-day operations of the Code Enforcement Department. Must have exceptional communication skills.
Licensing Inspector / Municipal Clerks Office – The Town of Dover (Morris County) is seeking to fill the Licensing Inspector within the Office of Municipal Clerk. The Town seeks applicants who have the ability to work part-time (20-28 hours per week) or full time as the position can be flexible. The licensing inspector, under the direction, supervision and final authority of the Municipal Clerk administers and enforces the licensing ordinances of the Town, including but limited to the following: taxicabs, limousines, garage sales, theaters and such additional and other licenses as may be provided by ordinance or statute.
