The Township Public Works Department initiated post-storm brush collection on November 7. The curbside collection will continue street by street over the next four to six weeks. The plan is to complete a full cycle through the Township prior to the beginning of winter. Due to the volume of debris and the limited amount of time prior to the arrival of winter weather, the Township will not be in a position to respond to requests for follow-up curb-side collections. With this in mind, residents are asked to not place additional brush at the curbside after the initial collection in their neighborhood. The Township will hold another regular brush collection in the early spring of 2012. The Township greatly appreciates resident’s understanding and patience in this unusual storm clean-up process.
