Pitney Farm Public Meeting on Thursday, January 26th
At the request of the Mendham Township Committee, the Pitney Farm Transition Committee will be holding a Public Meeting on Thursday, January 26th at 7:30pm.  The meeting will update the community on the status of the Pitney Farm property, and gather input and suggestions from the community regarding potential future uses of the property.  Pitney Farm is located at One Cold Hill Road, Mendham, and is a 12-acre site purchased by Mendham Township in July 2009.  Seven acres are preserved open space.  The remaining 5 acres contain a farm-house constructed around 1720, barns and several additional structures.  As yet, no decision has been made regarding the future uses of this property.  The Public Meeting is an opportunity for the community to learn more about Pitney Farm and to give input before the decision-making process regarding utilization of the land and structures begins.  The meeting will be held in Township Hall, Brookside, New Jersey.
