2nd Pitney Farm Public Meeting on Tuesday, May 22nd


The Pitney Farm Transition Committee will hold a Public Meeting on Tuesday, May 22nd at 7:30 pm.  The purpose of the meeting is to update the community on the status of the Pitney Farm property and gather suggestions from the community regarding potential future uses of the property.  

Pitney Farm is located at One Cold Hill Road, Mendham, and is a 12-acre site purchased by Mendham Township in July 2009.  Seven acres are preserved open space.  The remaining 5 acres contain a farm-house constructed around 1720, barns and several additional structures.  As yet, no decision has been made regarding the future uses of this property.  

The Public Meeting is an opportunity for the community to give input prior to the decision-making process regarding utilization of the land and structures.  The meeting will be held at Brookrace Lake Pavilion, Brookrace Drive, Mendham (off Pleasant Valley Road).
