Jersey Central Power and Light crews continue to work throughout the Township on efforts to restore power.  The Township has been advised that additional sections of the Township will see power restored by nightfall this evening (no specifics provided) and that JCP&L anticipates the majority of the Township restored by Wednesday, November 7.  Customers in the hardest hit areas can expect power to be restored by later in the week.  We ask that residents continue to remain patient and to take advantage of the emergency shelter at the Brookside Firehouse as needed.
