In light of the continued need for the shelter at the Emergency Services Building in Brookside, additional volunteers and donations are still needed.  The Shelter Coordinator has provided the following list of needs for residents interested in making donations to the shelter:

Garbage bags
Purell
Fresh meat/chicken
Fresh produce - tomatos, celery, cucumbers, onions
Soft tub butter
Fresh or Frozen foods of any kind
Aluminum pans
Broths for soup
Coffee
Pam
Red wine vinegar
Garlic
Plastic gloves (no latex)
Half and half
Foil and seran wrap (press and seal)
Cold cuts
Iced tea and lemonade mix
Rice
Coffee
Stirrers

Residents interested in volunteering should come by the shelter (second floor of the Emergency Services Building in Brookside) and place their name on the volunteer sign-up form located at the entrance to the kitchen area.  Thank you to all who have donated and/or volunteered to date.  Your continued support is greatly appreciated by all who are still in need of the shelter facilities and services.
