The National Weather Service has posted a Tornado Watch for the majority of the Northeast Corridor, including Morris County.  The Watch is in effect until 5 p.m. today.  A watch means that conditions are conducive to the development of tornadoes in and close to the watch area.  Residents are encouraged to pay attention to weather conditions and to weather media outlets for updates as the day progresses.  Should an immediate warning be posted a further notice will be issued.
