TAKE NOTICE that Mendham Township has filed a request with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, Green Acres Program, proposing to amend Mendham Township’s Recreation and Open Space Inventory by removing a .6 acre property located on Ironia Road, Block 109, Lot 16 in Mendham Township, Morris County.  
 
Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 7:36-25.3(h)2v, a hearing to obtain public comment on this request will be held at 7:30 p.m., May 27, 2014 at town hall, 2 West Main Street, Brookside.
 
All information submitted by Mendham Township to the Green Acres Program in support of this requested ROSI amendment is available for public inspection at the Clerk’s Office in Town Hall, the Mendham Township Library, and Green Acres Program Office.
 
Written comments on the ROSI amendment request may be directed to the Municipal Clerk at P.O. Box 520, Brookside, New Jersey 07926. Please send a copy of any comments submitted on this request to the NJDEP Green Acres Program, Mail Code 501-01, P.O. Box 420, 501 East State Street, 1st Floor, Trenton, NJ 08625-0420.
 
Public comment on this ROSI amendment request will be accepted during the public hearing or until June 10, 2014. On or after June 11, 2014, the Department of Environmental Protection may take formal action to approve the proposed ROSI amendment request.
