The Patriots Community Service Award is given annually by the Mendham Township Recreation Commission to a deserving senior from West Morris Mendham High School. It is awarded to a student who has voluntarily contributed and selflessly given back to the community, particularly in the area of recreation, including the performing arts. The fund awards a single, $500 scholarship to help defray college costs.

Award Criteria:
 
Award selection is based on participation in community service activities and volunteer work that has benefitted the residents of Mendham Township or a nearby community; cumulative academic grade point average; and the content of a 250-word essay submission.  See attached application for complete details. Students must apply in writing by May 27 in order to be eligible for this award.
