The Mendham Township Tax Office is accepting prepayment of 2018 taxes. If you wish to pay in advance, the payment must be received in the tax office no later than close of business on 12/29/17. We do not accept postmarks. If you have a mortgage company that escrows your taxes, call and let them know you are making a prepayment. If you would like to pay the entire year of 2018 in advance, you can pay by check. The third and fourth quarters of 2018 are not yet billed, however you can pay an estimate based upon last year’s total. There is a drop box in front of the building if you come after hours. Payments must be placed in the drop box no later than 12/28/17. The Township makes no representation concerning the deductibility of prepayments. It is recommended that property owners check with a tax professional before making a prepayment.
