Mendham, NJ – All boys and girls ages 9 to 14 are invited to participate in the 2019 Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship. The local competition will be held on Saturday, January 12^th, 10am-1pm at the St. Joseph’s School Gym at 8 W. Main St., Mendham, NJ.

The Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship is sponsored annually, with winners progressing through local, district, and state competitions. International champions are announced by the Knights of Columbus international headquarters based on scores from the state-level competitions.

What you need to know...

All boys and girls ages 9 to 14 as of January 1, 2019 are eligible to participate and will compete in their respective age/gender divisions
Each contestant gets a few warm ups and then 15 free throw attempts
Best player in each age group & gender moves on to the regional competition to be held in February
Arrive anytime after 10am, but no later than 1:00pm
Don’t feel obligated to stay until the end. The event was planned with a big 3hr window to ensure busy folks could get there between other activities
Winners will be notified of results if they're required to leave before 1pm
Parents or guardian must accompany the children and entry forms will be available at the event entrance
No need to register in advance
